About

Adam deMont

Originally hailing from Boston, Adam’s early years were marked by a nomadic lifestyle, living in five different states before completing his high school education. Graduating in Massachusetts, he later moved to Florida, where he pursued an Associate of Arts degree in 2007. Driven by a passion for the collaborative art of filmmaking, Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film with a minor in Mass Communications in 2010. However, his path was unexpectedly altered when he faced two vertebral artery dissections and a pinched nerve root, leaving him partially disabled for an extended period. Overcoming this obstacle taught him invaluable lessons in resilience and adaptability.

During his recovery, Adam discovered a new interest in IT support, dedicating his free time to learning about technology. This newfound passion eventually led him to his first IT support position in 2015, working for a property management company. Since then, he has honed his skills while working as an IT support professional across various industries. Since January 2022, he has been doing IT consulting and projects under the business name ForTechSupport LLC. Adam is now looking to return to a full-time role working for a small to medium-sized business or non-profit.

Notable among his achievements, Adam takes great pride in being the first member of his family to earn a Bachelor’s degree. Also, just one year into his tenure with his first IT support job, his hard work and dedication were recognized with a Home Office Employee of the Year award in 2016. Drawing from a diverse background that exposed him to various states and cultures, he excels in connecting with people from all walks of life. Adam’s transition into IT support was an intentional career shift, demonstrating his dedication to staying current with the industry’s latest trends and best practices.
